Children ages two to six are eligible to attend the Center. The Center requires all prospective students and their parents to meet with Center staff, who will assess each child's individual needs. The interview is a good opportunity for parents to visit the Center, ask questions, and see whether the Center seems like a good fit for their children. At this time, parents will receive all necessary forms needed to enroll their children in the Center.

Enrollment at the Falls Church McLean Children's Center includes breakfast, two snacks, and a hot lunch. The fee also includes field trips; vision, hearing, and dental screenings; and the services of our speech and occupational therapists and two counselors. All workshops and parenting classes are free. These comprehensive services for families paying full tuition are unique in Northern Virginia.

There is a $100 non-refundable application fee to apply for enrollment at the Center, along with a $100 one-time registration fee. Download Application

Waiting list
If enrollment at the Center is full, children are placed on a waiting list in numerical order from the time the application is made. In keeping with the mission of the Center, the Center commits 60 percent of its enrollment to children eligible for the Child Care Assistance Program. A completed application must be on file before a child is placed on the waiting list. When a space becomes available in the Center, the parent has three days to decide whether or not to enroll the child in the Center. If the parent does not enroll the child, the child's name will be removed from the waiting list if the parent is no longer interested, or left at the top of the waiting list if the parent prefers a later date.
