Delicious gourmet sandwiches, drawings for AMC Movie Theater tickets, and a contest to raise the most donations of $24 in one hour. Don’t miss the fun Thursday, June 2 at the Lost Dog Cafe in McLean when the Children’s Center invites friends, new and old, to Dine for Dollar$ anytime between 4-9 p.m.
It’s all part of Do More 24 in the National Capital Area, designed to inspire support for the crucial programs and services that nonprofit organizations provide.
With your help, the Children’s Center can raise much-needed funds to take us through the summer when our two classes of rising Kindergartners will be working hard to polish their skills before they leave for the big school this fall. Your gifts will provide classroom supplies, funds for educational and recreational field trips, and of course plenty of nourishing food to keep our children growing strong and healthy.
Lost Dog Cafe, 1690 Anderson Road, will donate a portion of your dining receipt in support of the Children’s Center. Bring your family, friends and neighbors! Hourly drawings will include free registrations to the Children’s Center’s 4th Annual Teddy Bear 5K & 1K, colorful pinwheels, plush Teddy Bears and tickets to AMC Movie Theaters.
And invite everyone you know, near and far, to help the Children’s Center win the Sunset Special Award with the most $24 donations made between 7 – 8 pm. via our special, United Way portal @ https://domore24.org/npos/falls-church-mclean-childrens-center-1
Of course donations will be accepted gladly anytime Thursday, June 2 at that URL.
There’s much more in store … Don’t miss the fun at Lost Dog Cafe. We can’t do all we do, without you!
